The Little Ranter has gotten a new favorite Swedish artist, his name is Brolle (or Brolle Jr.), and he is most definitely good enough to share with the rest of the world!

(Music is after all a UNIVERSAL language - if a song is really good, you don’t HAVE TO understand the lyrics, you sort of FEEL the meaning of the words anyway…)

His real name is Kjell Wallmark, and he was born on November 10th in 1981, in a place called Inbyn, outside of Boden, waaaaaaaaay up north in Sweden.

Since his father’s first name is Kjell as well, Brolle’s older sisters began calling him “Lillebror” (Swedish for “Little brother”) so as not to confuse the two. The somewhat long nick name “Lillebror” then got shortened down to just “Brolle”.

He was called Brolle even by his friends in school, and today it is his stage name.

Brolle writes his own music, but he also likes to sing a lot of Swedish traditional folk songs, and then there’s of course Elvis…

Brolle is singing the song “An American Trilogy” as a tribute to Elvis.

(You DID notice the hair, didn’t you? Yup, Brolle DEFINITELY has that Elvis look going - and that voice of his isn’t bad either!)
